Fantastic change of pace. Great Adventure for sunrise, lunchtime, sunset, anytime . . . . put in and take out at Howard's Landing. Enjoy riverside dining at Howard's BBQ or ask for carry-out service and enjoy a picnic on the river in your canoe!

Safari Overnight

Experience the wildness of nature with an overnight camp at Raven Rock. Put in at the access point below the Buckhorn Dam near Corinth, stay overnight in the canoe camps at Raven Rock, take out at Howard's Landing or farther downstream at the Wildlife Access. To continue to the NC 217 Bridge in Erwin may possibly require another overnight stay on the river.

Gift certificates are available.

All rentals include life vests and paddles. Life vests must be worn at all times. Available life vest sizes begin at 30 lbs. and goes up.

Waiver forms must be completed, signed, and returned with payment before canoes and kayaks are released.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

All North Carolina wildlife laws apply.

The historic, scenic shores of the mighty Cape Fear River are owned by individuals. Please respect the landowners and their privacy.
